The King of Fast Food Sluts
This micro-tale follows a regal figure who fills his space but does not put on airs. This widescreen extravaganza addresses the scorching topics of today: body image, American royalty (a.k.a. influencers) and consumeristic excess. It touches the soul, gastronomical systems and the nightly migration to the golden arches for millions of Americans. Amongst the glitz and glam of the King’s royal quarters, viewers get an intimate and slightly scatalogical portrait of the “Kale Nope!” lifestyle. Whatever the viewer’s perspective, it will exceed the best of tastes and the least of expectations.

Molly Walsh is a graduate of The Evergreen State College, in Olympia, Washington, where she studied visual and performing arts and ultimately discovered her true passion in photography. Eventually, Molly found herself wearing many hats as a freelance photographer, writer and reporter for a range of publications and organizations around the South Sound region of Washington State and beyond. And now, she is donning one more hat as a filmmaker and cinematographer with her debut short film, Confessions of the Muse and now with The King of Fast Food Sluts.
The King of Fast Food Sluts translates a lyrical narrative into a visual medium. This spoken word film is tied together with sharp choreography, tongue-in-cheek humor and exigent lyrics. Our intent was to explore the zenith of American culture, body image, beauty standards, the influencer lifestyle and consumeristic excess.
These words are a commentary on living large over the past two decades and these words have now come to life with a marriage between spoken word narration and stunning visuals. No expense was spared in pithy writing, “meat-normous” casting and elegance in costume and set design. A visual treat and audible delicacy, all available for viewing pleasure.
