Director Statement

This film was made in my second year of Film Production at the University of Gloucestershire. Pitching day was 2 days before my 20th birthday so I was feeling quite nostalgic at the time. Hence why I decided to write a letter to my younger self about the soul crushing identity crisis that comes with having spent a decade each in 2 very different countries and cultures, especially when the whole world currently lives by the idea of "us and them" when it comes to different nationalities and cultures... So I made a film about it!
