The Jakar
A story of the extinct cultural heritage of an annual race that exceeded 100 years ago, beginning of the twentieth century . It was held on the coasts of Jeddah city in the most important period of the year at that time. And has local and international popularity, but it ended in the sixth decade of the same century with the construction of the new Jeddah Islamic port berth And dispensing with the old coast to confine these boats to a place known today as "The graveyard of boats". An exciting story told from the perspective of a grandson of the race leaders and "The Sea Lane" neighborhood.
