Alex, comedian, does not recover from the murder of his wife. Lost in his memories, he is nothing but a reflection of himself, isolated to the point of being erased - literally - from his own life. He lives most of the time hidden in his home, where he records the voice-over work his agent sends him. Fate places on its way the mysterious Stella, a young woman who compulsively photographs the ghostly silhouettes of passers-by, shadows in which Alex seems to recognize himself. Fascinated, he decides to follow her. They end up gaining each other's confidence and revealing their feelings, but Stella disappears. Who is she? What purpose is she pursuing, and what role will she play in his life?
