The Invisible Condition
Chronic pain affects over 100 million people in the United States, many of whom are children and teenagers. Despite its prevalence, misconceptions about chronic pain pervade our medical system and schools, leading to misdiagnoses, children not being believed, and ineffective treatments. It's time to debunk those misconceptions and adopt the right approach to the management and treatment of chronic pain.
