The Inspiration Brothers is a look at the process of a creative work, a fervent march of inspiration with its intolerable chaotic form which slowly takes shape, leaves and leaves a reason behind to come back.
3 young friends (“brothers”) visit their old friend (Douglas) who has a difficulty writing a fictional story and decide to help him which doesn’t seem to make Benjamin, one of the visitors happy. While arguing around the text between Raymond and Billy becomes too harsh Benjamin tries to turn every moment to his advantage. Soon, Douglas has enough of it and kicks them all out.

Whereas the writer relaxes from the incident Billy weary of Benjamin’s boring questions keeps his emotional discussion in the corridor connecting to Douglas room with Raymond about how single words must be written to fit in the story. Since Raymond realizes that he can’t get away with his position against Billy he tries his luck with Douglas but is instantly refused due to interrupting his break. Finally, Douglas waves them inside. The doors are closed and the writing room is separated from the rest world.

Some hours pass. The crew becomes absolutely civilized and there is nothing left from the old confrontation. Even Benjamin finds something to like. He drinks delicious coffee. Douglas is lost in writing.
After an hour Douglas hits a full stop. As Billy and Raymond are about to leave Benjamin starts snoring. They try to wake him up but in vain. They share a look of surprise and leave.
