Director Statement

My creative vision is framed within the values of La Selva. Ecosistema Creatiu (the cooperative film production company of which I am co-founder), working on horizontality and the research of new forms of collective artistic work and expression, to open debates and generate reflections through the works I create. My artistic work is crossed by the exploration of memory, territory and women as a historically silenced figure.

In O Silencio Herdado I explore cinema and memory in the first person, generating a creative documentary with a high auteur component, which invites the viewer to reflect, through moral and philosophical questions, on the relationship between memory, silence and present. The project has been selected to participate in multiple film laboratories which have broadened my perspective and have made the film grow, such as Walden Residences and the Pantalla Compartida programme (both directed by Marta Andreu), the LABED programme by Pompeu Fabra University, the ARCHE - Porto/Post/Doc laboratory, and the Coming Soon industry space of PlayDoc Film Festival, among others. In addition, it has been supported by the AGADIC’s Talento Galego, Development and Production grants, as well as ICEC’s Development grant (they are both regional film institutes from Spain).
