Director Statement

‘Pathshala - The Inception of Pursuit’ is a film where I tried to revisit the memories of my childhood. This film is an attempt to convey that we all learn so much about life not only from the institutional education system but from our family and friends around us. From a very tender age, we start to learn many important aspects of moral values, humanity, complex chapters of human life like religion and so on. A child starts to learn what he sees or what he listens to and that makes what he or she will be in the future. So this film tells a story of a little boy who learns life philosophy, morality and humanity from his father in the easy way of storytelling but the impact of these stories helps him to become a human being in all true senses. So if we let children grow with all positive and healthy elements from their childhood, we, of course, can make this world a better place for everyone.
