The Idols of Christmas

It’s that time of year! Santa Claus is here…or coming. Everybody knows the
name Santa Claus. The jolly old white bearded fellow with big boots, a red coat and hat, with a big belly. To some people, he is the reason Christmas is so famous today.
Children write letters to him asking for toys and gifts, you can visit him at the mall, call him, email him, and now talk to him over Zoom. Many people love Satan Claus and all things he is known for. But the Santa we know today is not as he appears to be. The same way everything that is surrounding Santa (Elves, Santa songs, etc.) is the culmination of religious elements that have spanned all the way from the ancient Greek and Norse theology.
Is it possible that the Santa we know today is the attempt by Satan to replace the reason for Christmas with a being having the attributes of God, to lead people away from the reason we celebrate Christmas?
