Overwhelmed by a great sense of hopelessness brought on by the recurring cancelation/disinterest of Latin-centered productions and the repetitive stereotypical nature of many of them, Joshua enrolled into CSULB's screenwriting and theater programs, determined to heighten his skills as a storyteller in order to create the Latin led stories he wished he saw on screen.
For Joshua, he just hopes that everyone, of all walks of life who watches or reads his work, can resonate with it in some way, shape or form. That’s how he’d know he succeeded in telling his stories.
