Director Biography - Constantine Tupitsyn

Constantine Tupitsyn was born in Saint Petersburg (Russia). Started filmmaking career in 2006 as entered The Law Faculty. Used to work as a camera operator on two different TV channels after finishing the study in Perm State University. In 2008 Constantine started acting on the stage of the Red Flower theatre. It is one of the most awarded theatres in Perm City by now. Constantine launched a sci-fi web series “Section 6” in 2012 with a full pilot season (6 series, last one will be released in 2020). Same year he founded a small production company Green Image Studio. In 2017 Constantine wins a little pitching grant to finish a social drama feature called “Ikotka” (in postproduction process now). In 2018 Constantine finished a short film “Romantic” based on a novel “The Hitman Diaries” by Danny King. This film was officially selected for 2 Russian film festivals in 2019: 26th Saint Anna and Gorky Fest 2019. Also in 2019 Constantine was invited to participate in filming and making of a short film series “Byli” by Russian Geographic Society (release year 2020). Constantine is a founder of acting classes Green Image Theatre (since 2018).

Director Statement

We've got a feature film screenplay called "SAVIOR". This short film is based on the universe of the Savior. We tried to make a research of a problem of losing humanity. May be will start shooting the Savior someday but in The Hunting we just tried to do domething like that.
