Angel Prince, originally from the East Coast of the US now based on the Big Island of Hawaii, where she creates work for the stage, screen, and site specific locations. Ms. Prince is at her core, a storyteller. Drawing on a life-long interest in human nature and culture, she creates vibrant theatrical realms using the multi-media system of dance. Interdisciplinary in nature, her artistic practice is situated at the intersection of performance practice, social and environmental issues, dance studies, and feminism. Ms. Prince has created several short dance films which have screen in venues in Hawaii and Argentina.
This film was inspired by the global pandemic and the idea that grief touched us all during this time in different, but ultimately universal ways. We lived through a time of extreme separation which ultimately helped humanity realize how connect we are and how the sharing of grief makes the weight of it that much more bearable.
