The Brandon Brothers is a duo, Andrea Sgaravatti and Matteo Urbinati, who have been working for years as directors of their own productions. Andrea, who in his early twenties was frontman of a rock band, has been working in the world of video and film for 15 years. Matteo, after studying video production and audiovisual, started working with Andrea 8 years ago. Their different but very compatible personalities together bring an eclectic vision to their productions.
The story is about of Fabio and Vittoria and their meeting: Fabio, a patient forced to live with chronic myeloid leukaemia for a long time, accompanies Vittoria on the path that will help her face her fears. An unexpected guest, certainly not invited in. Chronic myeloid leukaemia suddenly arrives to disrupt the lives of those diagnosed and those around them, like a dark and threatening shadow. But if one gets to know it, one realises that it is less scary than it seems.
The film aims to help the audience understand the fears and anxieties that sufferers have to live with every day, but also the hope provided by research and treatment.
