As a foster youth in Chicago, IL and Gary, IN, Ginnie McKnight always had a passion for Visual Arts. She pressed beyond her life's narrative with faith and perseverance. In all of her artistic endeavors she poses this important question that propels her spirit of courage and faith. Who are you, and how do you respond to the world, when you have been stripped down to nothing? Ginnie McKnight's work in Oil and Acrylic paintings have been exhibited in National Art Campaigns, and on Billboard display in Times Square in New York City. Her homage to Harriet Tubman, in the See America Campaign for the National Park Service, gives a glimpse of her careful consideration of the pioneers she learned about in her youth. Ginnie McKnight's achievements as a Self taught Painter, is a call to all humanity to pursue the gifts we each have to offer
