Director Biography - Roald Duncan Thomsen

Duncan is been a professional film editor and director, working on award winning primetime, global TV entertainment for the BBC, ITV, Ch4, ABC and PBS. He shares an Emmy for the 'Ascent of Money' and national TV awards for editing and being part of the team.

He is an accomplished film director with awards for his short films including Best Short, Best in Festival and Best Comedy.

His passion for the story, has made him an integral part of the GR team and he has shared the journey from the beginning, through filming and directing, to editing the final master in close partnership with JC Mac and Jason Lee Hyde.

Director Statement

We made this film on the fly, the script was a few pages and we filmed in true Guerilla fashion. One man, one camera, two lights, a questionable mic from Maplins, awesome actors with a passion for the film and the drive of the writer.

I edited this on a laptop and cut in cars and houses, restaurants and bars. The crew are the cast and vice versa - Davinci and Avid did the rest.

Very happy to announce GR won Best Comedy at LA Pnk FF 2022.
