The Great Divide
In the 1970’s, my uncle whom I never met was only a child when he was involved in a tragic car accident that took his life all those years ago. This film is an homage to him and his interest in the stars and no matter how far away his death was or he may seem now he will always live on in the cosmos.

Call me Jupe,
I’m an auteur honing his craft in all aspects of film making, a young man with a professional career starting at 17 to working commercial work at 18. I am many things but above all I tell stories that matter and express my human feelings through my art and specifically the images I craft.
A truly personal work coming from a turbulent time in my life. Written in the point of view of my late grandfather, I wrote it as he would have spoken it. He was a very poetic man and when it came to his family it was even more so. Marco, the boy whom the films based on, had just had his deaths anniversary pass and no one seemed to remember what a special kid he must have been. My grandmother went through the loss, my mother too. I felt a duty to create a gift to my family to remember him as nostalgically and emotionally real as possible.
