The Grand Lake
Lake Merritt in downtown Oakland is the oldest wildlife sanctuary in the U.S. When Brooklyn the pigeon overhears a property developer outline his plans to drain the lake and turn it into a golf course, he conscripts the help of his feathered and furry friends to thwart the plan. However, the fabled Lake Merritt monster might have an influence on how this comedic drama unfolds.
There are a couple of minor weird pixelating glitches that must have happened when uploading to FilmFreeway. For glitch-free viewing go to: www.TheGrandlake.com or

As The Bay Area Brit, Matty Stone has performed readings of his short, funny essays at events all over the S.F. Bay Area including the renowned LitQuake literary festival.
In the 90′s, Stone drew comics for San Francisco’s “The American Music Press” and created cartoons for The Improv Comedy Club. His single-panel comic strip “Stone’s Throw” was syndicated by The New Breed, a division of King Features.
His first novel: “The Americanization of Poe Ogdred” was represented by Tricia Davey while she was at the prestigious Sanford J.Greenburger Literary Agency.
A compilation of short stories and essays (written as The Bay Area Brit) called “Inappropriate Behavio(u)r” is still available on Amazon.
In the last three or four years, he has chosen animation as his favorite medium to tell his stories
It is ultimately my goal to try and make people laugh and forget their troubles for as long as that laugh can last.
