The Good Citizen
In a tightly controlled society, a Party member follows his daily routine under constant surveillance. But when he's suddenly taken, a hidden diary revealing forbidden thoughts is left behind. Inspired by George Orwell's 1984, this film explores the cost of silent rebellion.

Her love for filmmaking started in 2016 when her dad gave her his old monitor, and she’s been creating ever since. Over the years, she’s directed home movies, school projects, and even ventured into animation. Alex also shares her work on YouTube, where her channels have gained over 18,000 subscribers. She’s excited to keep making films that entertain and inspire others.
This film was inspired by an English class project based on George Orwell's 1984. My group and I explored the life of someone suspected of "thoughtcrime"—unorthodox thinking considered criminal under the Party’s rule. Through the daily routine of "Subject 1024E," the film captures the tension of constant surveillance in Oceania's oppressive society.
