Great opportunity for writers to have people read their script, and they make a big deal of anyone shortlisted. The cash prize is only for the overall winner, but it is cool to get a digital certificate for 2nd and 3rd places. As a second place prize winner the organisers also promoted the script for me, recommending me for other contests on Film Freeway, and a this gave me a nice discount for the entry too. Was thrilled to be shortlisted, even more thrilled to be second, my confidence as a writer was waning, but its back up to the brim after entering this contest.

This was a good screenplay to enter, as the founders are genuinely interested in promoting the writing talent involved. They communicated very clearly with us throughout the process of submissions, judging, and placement. I recommend others to submit as well.
