Masuda, a real estate agent, spends his fruitless days at work in a dull mood. He lives with his girlfriend Tomoko who supports him with tender loving care. However, their mutual friend Muto’s recent success as an actor begins to annoy Masuda.
Every time Muto appears on television, the room is filled with tense air, and the couple gradually falls apart.
As Masuda is tossed about by his uncontrollable jealousy, a cult figure who calls himself “father” appears before him and captures his heart.
