The film follows two young sisters in an engagement night after one of them decides to go the grocery shop but gets denied, which leads to unexpected turn of events in a violent way that pushes them to discover themselves, each other and their environment.

Director Biography - Sarah Misfer

Sara Mesfer is a Saudi Director based in Saudi Arabia. She holds a bachelor degree in Cinematic Art from Effat University. Sara had the chance to explore cinema and making films not only by studying that, In 2016 she gathered with a group of independent filmmakers in Saudi Arabia and started making shorts and feature films each time with different story, style and role. Some of these films made it to local and international film festivals. As well as working with VICE Video as Producer and Director. Besides working in summers as an assistant director for commercials and music videos. Sara worked in a few TV series as second assistant director and script supervisor. Her first short to produce “Sadeya Left Sultan” won the jury award in Saudi film festival in 2018, and screened in Malmo Arab film festival along with other regional festivals. In 2019 she Wrote and Produced “Quareer, Chapter Three” short film as part of “Quareer” Collective Feature Film that highlights five different stages of a woman’s life in Saudi Arabia. In addition to films, Sara was part of the writing team for the first immersive theatre in Saudi Arabia “Bait Al Dahaleesi, 2019” Besides taking part in its production as an Assistant Director. Sara Wrote and Directed her short film “The Girls who Burned The Night (2019)" Which got the Special Mention Award at Palm Spring international ShortFest in 2021 And The Jury Special Mention award in Cairo International Film Festival's 42nd edition. Followed by her Participation as a Writer and Director of “Al Dabah” in Becoming Omnibus Feature with four female directors by the support of Red Sea film Festival Foundation.
