Director Biography - Maurício Eça

Director of five feature films, a documentary and a TV film, as well as many commercials and music videos. Awarded nationally and internationally for several works, he was director of the brazilian franchise “Carrossel”, which took more than five million spectators to the theatres. His more than 200 music video productions reached more than 800 million views on youtube, with emphasis on “Diário de um Detento”, by internationally famous rap group Racionais MC's. In “Apnéia”, 2014, in addition to directing, he was responsible for the script and production. His latest couple of films, "The Girl Who Killed Her Parents" and "The Boy Who Killed My Parents", make for an unprecedented distribuition experience, telling the same story by two diffent points of view, to be released at the same time.
