In brief...

Thaïs Sherell is a Bronx native. Multitalented, she is a producer, director, writer, actor, singer-songwriter, author, licensed educator of learners with disabilities, and a motivational speaker who is passionate about family and community development. In addition to several awards, her writings have appeared in numerous publications, including the Bronx Memoir Project Anthology - volumes II, III, and IV, Open Road Poetry June 2020 Porch Festival, Dineen Hull Gallery Live, This Is The Bronx Weekday Magazine, New York Public Library’s seasonal zines, The Bronx Times, The New York Carib News, and Scope Magazine and her films have screened in festivals to include N-Spired Film Festival, The Micheaux Film Festival, SideReel Film Festival, Lift-Off, and others. In addition to her work in film, stage, and television, she is the proud mother of two biological daughters, two foster daughters, and ten international-sponsored daughters from Italy, Spain, France, China, Russia, and Tanzania.
