Director Biography - Justin Cooper Hankinson, Luke Frisbie

Justin Cooper Hankinson comes from Springfield IL and is a Cinema and Photography graduate of Southern Illinois University, and Producer on FOX's the Masked Singer. His latest short "Model Citizen" premiered at the Silicon Beach Film Festival in 2020 and received recognition from Jury Choice to Best Actor and Cinematography during its festival run.

Luke Frisbie was raised in Omaha, Nebraska and is a graduate of Colorado Film school. His recent shorts "What Heroes Do" and "My Ghost" premiered at Culver City Film Festival and Los Angeles Lift Off Festival respectively, the former being recognized for Best Supporting Actor during its festival run. Luke also was awarded Best Actor at the Falcon International Film Festival London in 2021.

Director Statement

This project happened because Luke was shooting pick ups for a different project and one of his actresses caught COVID. He had already picked up the equipment so he called me and asked if I had any ideas for something to shoot and I had this strange experience in my back pocket. So we took this real life situation and got to explore in its fullest, purest sense the thing that makes storytelling itself so captivating, trying to answer the question "what if...?"
