Long and Tan, both couldn’t afford the rent anymore. The two went to negotiate with the landlord, only to find out he’d already died on the sofa, with loads of money hided under his bed.

So why not just bury Mr. Landlord? Bury him, maybe all the problems will be buried as well. Or...did they just get themselves into a deeper trouble?

Director Biography - Chih-Chieh WANG

Chih-Chieh,Wang, a Taiwanese director, graduated from National Taiwan University of Arts Motion Picture Department, THE FUTURE IS YOURS(2022) is his graduation production. Fascinated by film noir, crime, horror genre films as a child, big fan of The Coen Brothers. Sometimes he’s a little worried about his future.

Director Statement

I tried to write a story about two young man struggled about poverty and unclear bleak future. Living in the world that justice and righteous reward nothing, or death, is kinda make me frustrated, but also at the same time, it’s kinda funny. The Future Is Yours is a comedy about despair.
