The Future Is Dark

In the coal town of Jhariya, Mohan resides with his wife Rukmani and their eight-year-old son, Ravi. Mohan works as a coal laborer and is struggling with financial difficulties. Due to the unpaid debt with his father's lenders, Mohan gets involved in the talks of the coal mafia, Raja Singh, and the contractor, Bhim Singh. He ends up committing a murder under their influence.

After Mohan goes missing, the family's life becomes filled with hardships. Rukmani and Ravi face a significant increase in financial struggles.

My content is based on the life of a coal worker. This is a very emotional story for the family of a coal worker. We have shot this film in a real location. Everyone should see the pain of the people living in the coal sector. Even today many laborers die due to coal mine accidents or politics in the coal mafia.
