The Fool | Pili Valdivia Shop
The Fool is an autobiographical (-multi-biographical) fashion film, that depicts the story of the fool in their golden journey of "becoming others" and learning how to live.
It was initially conceived as a fashion film to showcase a collection of t-shirt, and inevitably, it became a mystical concept film, filled with symbolism and an arcane essence, so soon, all commercial purposes were reprioritised, leaving space for open and vulnerable meaning to arise.
It was shot in Berlin with a Super 8 camera, and with no budget besides some pocket money, it tells an honest and innocent story of awakening.

Born in Chile in 1994 and currently based in Berlin, Pili Valdivia is a graphic artist, constantly searching for new languages and keys to create deep and emotional narratives, within the film realm and outside of it.
From silence to sound; from staticity to motion; from nothingness to something-ness... continuously experimenting without another purpose than achieving a more vast understanding of things.
