The Fishman

Produced by students of the MISCELÂNEA CINE workshop, under the supervision of filmmaker Johnny Kelvin, and recorded in the city of Barreirinhas, Maranhão - Brazil. Known as the home of the famous Lençóis Maranhenses, artist Tav Zareia uses reggae to poetically depict the reality of the fishermen and residents of this tourist city, celebrating the rich culture of Brazil’s Northeast.
