Paulo Delgado was born on December 31st, 1951 in Coimbra, Portugal.
Developed the professional activity of radiologist at the University Hospital of Coimbra for 41 years. Was professionally an “interior photographer” and now that he is retired he became an “outdoor photographer”.
Lives in Praia da Tocha beach and as a lover of the sea and fishing, is dedicated to making a photographic and video archive of an endangered activity - the Art of Xávega. The purpose of this archive is to document the differences that exist in a small geographical area in the form of traditional trawl fishing.
In his filmography there are the short films "A Safra da Faina", "António de Macedo - O Cineasta Inconformado", "Palheiros da Praia da Tocha", "30 Days 30 Tides", "No Fishing" and "The Fish Protest" and "White Gold".
