The Visit
A man sits nervously in his apartment, anxious about the arrival of something or someone. From his apartment, he hears footsteps approaching the building, followed by the elevator stopping on his floor, and then a knock at the door. The closer it gets, the more frightened he becomes. Inside the apartment, friends and family watch him with concern, puzzled by his growing panic. He doesn’t know what’s coming, but he’s certain something is about to happen—and it terrifies him.

I’m Luis Fernando, born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. Ever since I can remember, film has been my true passion. From a young age, I’ve had this constant curiosity about how stories are told on screen. I studied advertising and spent many years working as an art director in ad agencies, where I had the opportunity to lead creative projects for TV commercials. This experience gave me a deep understanding of the power of imagery and visual storytelling.
Over the past five years, I’ve ventured into scriptwriting, creating short film scripts as a self-taught writer. Along the way, I’ve also developed two TV series that are currently in the process of being pitched and sold. My dream has always been to direct films, and every day, I strive to learn more, grow as a storyteller, and move closer to that goal.
