Nadia Dar is a budding filmmaking born and raised just outside of Toronto. Although new to filmmaking, she's been telling stories though video and illustrations for years.
Nadia started off in the world of illustration which eventually lead her to the path of a video editor. After over 5 years of telling other people's stories, she decided it was time to take the reigns.
Her debut short film 'The Final Years of Your Best Friend' is a documentary about the final years of a pet's life and is sure to touch the hearts of many.
I've always been an artist and a story teller. I remember even as a little kid drawing comics and showcasing them to my friends.
This particular new film I directed/produced is very close to my heart. It's been over a year in production and the audience response has been insane. I'm so grateful the message resonates with so many people and I really hope it can get the proper exposure it deserves.
