During my senior year, "The Fifth Time" was originally a high school project that was going to be a stay at home project due to COVID-19. My comm arts teacher was looking for student input on possible projects to do at home since online school messed up the usual program. I suggested doing a stay at home 60 second film challenge which the YouTube channel "Film Riot" was also doing at the time. Unfortunately, the chaos of COVID-19 prevented the challenge from being completed. However, once the fall semester of my freshman year of college began, I was assigned to make a 60 second short film. I decided to pick up where I left off and "The Fifth Time" became a reality. There's no in-depth way to explain what my inspiration for "The Fifth Time" was, because it just simply fell into my head.
