The Family Tie
While his entrepreneurial spirit is what drove his passion, fifteen year old Miller Cornell wouldn't have been able to build his booming sneaker business without the support and love from his family, who he brought closer together than they ever dreamed was possible in the process.

Annabelle Fandozzi is a director and sound designer who is originally from a small town in southern New Hampshire. While attending a very science and math based high school in Massachusetts, Annabelle held on to her love of fine arts and pursued art through the small program that was available to her. Not knowing anything about the film industry or having any experience, Annabelle decided to attend SCAD Atlanta and pursue a career in filmmaking as a way to combine her love of films with her desire to have a more creative career. Through her time at SCAD, she discovered what about film led to her desire of wanting to make them. She was drawn to the storytelling and the sound experience of a film more than all else. Annabelle never held back or slowed down when it came to school and always pushed herself to strive for new heights which led her to directing a major school project. From going the extra mile in her classes, to working on sound designs for projects outside of her coursework, and even to working on SCAD’s special projects and seeing them through completion with dedication and hard work for over a year. Annabelle loves to find unique stories and share them with the world. She has a drive and passion for the run and gun fast paced world of documentary and sound design that led to the creation of some of her proudest works to date.
Family above all is a rule that I live by. As the youngest of four and the daughter of a mother who was the youngest of eight, I come from a very large and loving family. Growing up in an environment of such large and strong family bonds across the country, and at times the world, I came to learn how important and special human connection is. From family and blood relatives, to the friendships and communal bonds I have made as I have grown up, I have seen and experienced how human relationships form and change your life. My family, mostly Irish and Italian, are big storytellers. We love sharing the family news of new baby’s and relationships, to crazy Aunt’s and Grandma’s latest adventures. Growing up in a lively talkative environment has led me into a life of loving to hear people’s stories. When I stumbled across Miller Cornell’s story while interviewing different people in line for a sneaker convention, I never thought I would find a kinder family with a more touching or inspiring story than the one I watched unfold before my eyes. From conducting interviews with the family to seeing them interact with one another, you can tell that Miller’s family have a deep and special bond that has grown around this budding entrepreneur and is evident in the way they have immersed themselves into his world. The bond of family not only connects generations, but helps me and I hope everyone who watches this story remember and reconnect to their family ties.
