Brian Cunningham has written and directed five feature films over the last decade. Most recently his film "Loss Prevention" was one of two films to screen to a sold out drive-in audience and be awarded the "Drive-In Academy Award" by legendary horror host Joe Bob Briggs as part of the genre celebration "Mutant Fest."
Brian made his directorial debut in 2011 with the award-winning action/comedy "Overtime" starring WWE's Al Snow. Two years later he released the documentary "Monsters Wanted" about the haunted attraction industry.
A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Cunningham graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2005 and began working as a freelance director of photography and producer. In 2012, Cunningham and long-time collaborator Matt Niehoff started ThoughtFly Studios, a commercial and film production company based in Louisville.
His most recent release is the psychological horror film "Wretch."
