Jacob’s passion for storytelling began at a young age, and only grew through a love of writing, film and videography as an art form. From New Jersey, he was surrounded by diverse tastes in culture in music and film which inspired him to pursue the two avenues separately… that was until learning they could be incorporated together to create a single vision. He’s always strived to learn from past experiences, and more importantly enjoy what he does every step of the way. Every skit or high school short film, and every college production brought him to the world and the industry, but they are only the beginning…
"The Exchange" is the first film that I wrote, from 2016 to 2019 and still revising. It's a comedy and romantic drama inspired by true personal friendships and characters that I came into contact with years ago during an Italian exchange. The month long event (which I wasn't even technically apart of but found myself coming back to) inspired me to write my first feature, a venture I had attempted long before I had even started writing short films.
