Kelley first started writing SNL-style comedy sketches in middle school so that the other kids would laugh with her and not at her. She founded the Eclectic Company Comedy Troupe in Miami in the early 1990s. Later, she moved to Georgia where she created the OTC Comedy Troupe in 2004. Kelley's writing credits include sketches like Celebrity Cow Tipping for OTC-TV as well as the creation of Ghost Wanderers, a paranormal web series. The pilot that she wrote and produced was a finalist in the 2018 Reel Time International On-Line Film Festival. Her comedy pilot, The Estrogen Squad was a Georgia screenwriting finalist at the 2019 Atlanta Comedy Film Festival, a semi-finalist in the 2018 Diverse Voices Screen Writing Lab, and a finalist at the 2021 Women's Comedy Film Festival in Atlanta. Her script, Sophia's Carol has won various awards including the Georgia Shorts Film Festival and the Milan Gold Film Festival. Her Ghost Wanderers' short-story blog has garnered over 12,000 page views worldwide. She lives in Atlanta with her husband Max and her two daughters who are also writers.
I enjoy creating stories of empowered women who often have to overcome unusual circumstances and channel powers they didn't know they had.
