The End of All Things
After her parents’ death, Victoria ends up in the care of a distant relative, a strict Woman who is convinced that the erratic behavior and sickly appearance of the girl can be corrected by traditional treatments and a regular attendance to church. But Victoria doesn’t get better, and the Woman’s cheektooth starts to ache. And the more frequent Victoria’s visits to the garden shed become, the worse her pain gets.

She began her film career working as a cinematographer in several documentaries and short films. In 2015, she started the independent company Demeter Films, with the goal of producing her own projects as well as her associate’s, Haritz Zubillaga, who is also a director.
In 2016, she directed her debut film; the short movie 'Jules D.', which tells the story of a boy who wants to turn into a vampire. The film garnered more than 80 international selections and was granted more than 20 awards and honors in festivals such as Film Quest and Etheria Film Night, in USA, Zinebi, in Spain, or Genre Celebration, in China.
Adapted from Saki’s short story 'Shredni Vashtar', 'The End of All Things' is a suggestive and stylish thriller enveloped in a disturbingly dark and occult, almost oniric, atmosphere, which permeates the psychological duel the two leads are involved in.
Victoria, a teenager who recently lost her parents, is a lonely character with peculiar habits, and, most importantly, a hidden secret; a concealed persona that threatens to bloom as she transitions into maturity.
Victoria’s personality clashes with the character of the Woman, who takes care of her after the death of the girl’s parents. She’s a stiff, controlling Woman, the embodiment of rectitude and respectability, and is determined to right the erratic attitude and sickly habits of Victoria. But the strict discipline imposed by the Woman only manages to make the hidden personality of Victoria take root and grow more strongly, until she ends up making the step from adolescence to adulthood through a perverse and unholy rite of passage.
'The End of All Things' is the kind of film that offers the audience a purely sensitive experience through its stylish aesthetics and immersing atmosphere. A movie that proposes a reflection about the struggle between individualism and the established rule, the weird and the socially acceptable, avoiding any trace of a moralistic or preachy approach and trusting the viewer to make out their own conclusion.
