Daniel Banchik was born on May 4th, 2004, in Mexico City. He is currently studying for a BA degree in Film Production at Arts University Bournemouth, United Kingdom. Daniel has participated in several film projects in Mexico, UK and Romania. He has worked as an assistant director in a Romanian feature film ("Mi-e dor de tine"), as an assistant producer in a Mexican feature film ("No dejes a los niños solos") and as an assistant producer in a Polish/Mexican short stop-motion film (a "Hasta pronto). He is currently devoting his time as a student, writer, director and producer of multiple small independent projects.
The Egg is a science fiction film that revolves around the theory that we are no one and every person who has and will ever be at the same time, giving absolute or no meaning to life. The Egg attempts to answer this "Who am I" question through a conversation with our creator after the death of the protagonist.
