The Earth God in Hakka Village

This program introduces the distinctive Bag-Gung (Earth God) temples of various Hakka villages in the north, central, south, and east of Taiwan. With the concept of "light travel," it combines unique tourist attractions and Hakka cuisine, interspersed with interesting stories, architectural features, and little-known legendary anecdotes of each Bag-Gung temple. It offers viewers a new choice for leisure travel and cultural exploration!

The host rides a bicycle along the "Dongfeng Bicycle Greenway," the first abandoned railway in Taiwan that has been transformed into a bike path, from Fengyuan to Dongshi, a total of 12 kilometers. Along the way, the host introduces the unique Earth God temples in the Hakka villages.

The temples featured in this episode have distinctive architectural styles that are different from the traditional Earth God temples. Therefore, the host is searching for the "ever-changing male deity" in this episode. In addition, a unique feature of the Earth God temples in this area is that they worship both the Earth God and Earth Goddess in pairs, making them very cute.
