Mitch Hyman is a writer and filmmaker, born in the Bronx, NY and now based in Florida – the wild and weird state that provides an abundance of inspiration for his writing, which includes comics, short stories, novels, and screenplays.
He is the creator of the fan-favorite cult comic "Bubba the Redneck Werewolf" and executive produced its successful indie film adaptation.
In addition to firing Donald Trump via the pages of CRACKED Magazine, his writing has appeared in the Chicago Tribune, the Comics Buyer’s Guide, and Wizard Magazine.
"Vinnie and Mook," his most recent series, is a Florida-set mashup of horror, pulp fiction, and comedy that begins when two retired Miami hitmen are forced back into the game by a final promise owed to a fellow mobster. But this favor becomes a curse: Their latest targets refuse to stay dead – or were never alive in the first place.
