The Dream Of Super Bridge
In Wuhan, China, people are constructing a colossal bridge over the Yangtze River. Throughout the challenging construction process, they are under immense pressure. Through our cameras, we capture the story of two migrant workers at the bridge site. Day after day, far from their families, they too have their own glories and dreams, troubles and hopes. This story is a portrait of an era, featuring their firm backbones and advancing steps in the narrative of the Chinese Dream and China's rapid development.

Beneath the steel and concrete of the mega-projects, I focus on the state and fate of individuals. The mega-project is like a magnificent stage, and the destinies of the characters unfold upon this stage. I am interested in how individual dreams genuinely intersect with these larger concepts. Through documentation and observation, I also contemplate the physical and emotional costs individuals pay for survival and development. Additionally, in the documentary, I realize that through actions and movements, beyond the story, the images themselves may touch upon a reality that transcends the tangible.
