Ethan Goolsby, originally from Illinois, has made the long journey to Waco, Texas in pursuit of a Film and Digital Media degree from Baylor University. While there, Ethan has had the opportunity to crew and create several short films. He aspires to continue with film, and grow his skills in directing and screenwriting.
With The Disappearance of Mike Hawke, I hoped to create an irreverent, comedy filled short film. Laughter is my main motivation, and with this short, every scene is intended to provide that for the audience as much as possible. The jokes may be dirty, childish, or downright offensive, but for my first time writing and directing that is exactly what I wanted to accomplish.
