The Dinning Table

It is the story of Riya and Rayan, who married each other after dating for five years and after fighting with their people to start their journey forever.
At midnight, Riya suddenly wakes Rayan up, covers his eyes with her hands, and walks him to the dining room covered with the thick darkness. Rayan, who does not know what's going on, keeps asking many questions, but Riya doesn’t answer any of them.
Suddenly light knacks every corner of the house, and Riya giggles like a piece of music. On the dining table before Rayan lay everything so beautifully arranged. It’s a special day for them; it’s their first wedding anniversary. There was a huge happy anniversary greetings card, ports full of foods, a bottle of wine, and in a vase Rayan’s favorite lilies in harmony with a bunch of tuberoses.
Riya has planned this surprise for Rayan that captivates him and makes him incredibly happy. The two share hugs of excitement and happiness, and Rayan could not stop thanking Riya for gifting him the perfect first-anniversary dinner. Though initially, he had a question about the date of the celebration since, according to him, their anniversary should be celebrated the next day; Riya’s caprice of celebrating their first anniversary sharp at midnight made him surrender.
The two start their celebration with the dinner alongside sipping their favorite wine that Riya poured into wine glasses for both of them. Everything was perfect until Rayan remembered they did not cut a cake. When he asks Riya about the cake, he finds out that while arranging for all the other things, Riya completely forgot about the cake. But instead, she made Rayan his favorite pudding. Soon after, Riya hands over a bowl with some pudding to Rayan; he doesn’t waste a single second and jumps into it.
Suddenly an idea strikes Riya’s mind. And with her childish, cute gesture, she convinces Rayan to play a game with so many memories: Surprise or Confession. It is also the same game that helped Rayan to propose to Riya.
According to the rule of the game, each person has to surprise the other or confess something about their life.
On his first turn, Rayan chooses to surprise Riya with a beautiful jewelry piece he brought for Riya on their anniversary. But their happiness soon takes a U-turn when Riya chooses confession and shares about her ongoing affair with one of her colleagues, Sujon. The confession devastates Rayan and makes him lose his temper and attack Riya.
While trying to relieve herself from Rayan, Monica’s name comes out of Riya’s mouth, which tremors Rayan as if he has encountered a ghost.
Monica turns out to be the daughter of Rayan's boss, with whom Rayan is involved in an extramarital affair. Though Rayan initially denies his relationship with Monica, after looking at the photographs of him and Monica saved on Riya's mobile, which she kept as evidence, Rayan could not say a word but confesses his desire for a luxurious lifestyle made him do such a thing.
Riya finds it hard to believe, and she blames herself for ending up in such a situation marrying Rayan, whom Riya’s father rejected, and for whom Riya had to leave her entire family, friends, and everything that mattered to her.
While the clash between the both goes on, Rayan unexpectedly falls on the chair. His health starts deteriorating soon, and he starts calling for Riya to take him to the doctor. But Riya does not heed it; instead, she confesses how she has mixed poison into the pudding that Rayan just had.
Riya decides to surrender to the police and leaves the room leaving Rayan in his condition. Rayan keeps on requesting Riya to help him, and he dies.
Riya, who was waiting outside, comes back to check whether or not Ryan is dead. And when he confirms that Rayan is no more, she reveals her wicked plan of leaving the country with Sujon.
With love, mystery, cheating, revenge, and murder- the story is a roller coaster ride of so many emotions and experiences that will leave the audience guessing what will happen next.
