The Dice Player

The Dice Player’ is an animated poetry film that based on the titled poem by Mahmoud Darwish. The film presents a visual tale of a a man who grew up with the hardships of war and whose life was shaped by coincidences, as he imagines different versions of himself and morphs between multiple visual dimensions. This film was a part of the bachelor research project ‘Visual Poetry’, which analyzes how Animation can be used to revive Arabic Poetry amongst Arab youth.
