The Diagnosis: COVID-19
Portugal became the worst country in the world regarding new infections and deaths caused by COVID-19. In the beginning of 2021, almost a year after the first cases, the country went through the worst time ever, with the National Health Service being pushed beyond its limit like never before. “The Diagnosis: COVID-19” is a documentary filmed inside one of the biggest Portuguese hospitals and it shows everything that can happen after a positive diagnosis. From the emergency room, to intensive care units and even to the morgue. An unprecedented report of a collective struggle against an unpredictable disease whose complications can last a lifetime.
