Roberto Alvarenga is an 80s kid forever with a flare for horror. Spielberg, Dante, Craven, Carpenter were his mentors - he just never knew it until he started writing. Studied at New York Film Academy. Obtained a master's degree in English Literature and Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University. Bro-hugged Mathew Modine.
The trends that you will find in my horror stories usually include two types of elements: the supernatural and the folly of man's assertion that he/she has control of situations that will not be controlled. Combined I use them to illustrate the scariest thought to me that what is supernatural just might be the natural and our actions against it is what creates the true horrors we face.
