The Desert Here and the Desert Far Away - #3 The Yellow Man

A scientist is doing research in the arctic landscape. He wanders around alone in a Hazmat suit and measures or scans the environment. One day he finds a mysterious object or artefact that he can’t really place. He takes the object back to his cabin to investigate it. After the find he takes the object everywhere he goes, while his researching methods start getting more and more unorthodox.

Director Biography - Paul Segers, Remco de Vries

Paul Segers is a Visual Artist from the Netherlands working under the name UDC-Productions (Unlimited Dream Company). He produces video's, performances, sculptural installations and drawings. He graduated at the sculpture department of the Academy of Fine Art & Design in ‘s- Hertogenbosch in 2000, and earned his MFA at the Dutch Art Institute in 2005. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally at, amongst others GAFA Art Museum, Guangzhou, CN, the van Abbemuseum, Eindhoven, NL, Stedelijk Museum ’s-Hertogenbosch, NL, Gemeente Museum Helmond, NL, The National Museum of Budapest, HU, Vasarely Museum Budapest, HU, Art Gallery of Alberta, Edmonton, CA, and the Universities of Nanjing, Xiamen and Guangzhou, CN.
