The Deokjeok High Baseball Team
Deokjeok High School, the only high school in Deokjeokdo that opened in 1980, has 14 students and only one freshman among them (as of 2021). How can we save a dying school? The way the residents put their heads together was the ‘establishment of a baseball team’. The residents sold the island's sand to create a support fund and founded the Deokjeokgo baseball club.

The current affairs program directed by Lee Song-eun is giving a big resonance to society. Having directed current affairs programs such as 'Direct Hit' and 'Tracking 60 Minutes', his gaze is always focused on the restoration of human rights.
In the early days, he directed ‘My Hometown at 6’ and ‘Walking into the World’. After that, he is mainly in charge of directing solid current affairs programs such as 'Chase 60 Minutes' and 'Direct Hit'.
In particular, he recently directed the documentary 'Corona-economics', a calm perspective on the chaotic times that the world's vulnerable are experiencing with content that allows us to think about the role of the state and government in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. released with
Director Lee Song-eun said, “Since I have worked in public broadcasting, I am relatively free from external pressure, but I need a lot of coverage to make a 50-minute broadcast. In particular, I feel a greater sense of responsibility because I am in a position where I have to understand the social flow after the broadcast and present the right direction, not just the broadcast,” he said.
On the other hand, Lee has won the 2020 PD of the Month Award, “Good Program of the Month Award” by Korea Communications Standards Commission and the 2020 Gender Equality Media Award.
