Every year in the town of Narcisse, Manitoba, tens of thousands of garter snakes emerge out of hibernation and begin their mating ritual thus creating the largest snake gathering in the world.

Director Biography - Alex Forgues

Alex Forgues is a Franco-Ontarian writer-director based in Ottawa. He studied documentary at L’Inis, Montreal, as well as fiction at Canadore College in North Bay. Since then, Alex has written, directed or co-directed independent works or television programs such as La diffusion!, Porcelaine and a few episodes of the second season of Petites bouches du monde for TFO.

Other relevant short films includes Dirty Laundry (2019), A Family Recipe (2020), and Kids (2021).
