Writer Statement

In 2323, society is divided between Extenders, who can afford to live for centuries through cellular reprogramming, and Premats, who are doomed to short lifespans. Dr. Sinclair Gurdon, the 300-year-old inventor of life extension, grapples with the unintended consequences of his work and decides to make the technology available to all.
This decision puts him at odds with the powerful Ageist organization, led by Tae Wannsee, which controls population growth. As Sinclair fights to implement his plan, he is betrayed and assassinated by his protégé, Nicole Sacco, an Ageist agent.
Dr. Xondra Kirke, a brilliant Danish epigeneticist and Sinclair's ally, secretly preserves his legacy by cloning him. She raises the clone, Davi, as her own son, preparing him to lead humanity into a future beyond Earth.
The story spans nearly three decades, culminating in Davi's emergence as a leading figure in space adaptation genetics. As he grapples with the truth of his origins and the weight of his destiny, Davi must decide whether to reveal his identity to the world and lead humanity into a new era of evolution and space exploration.
